Dante Bolatti is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Ryerson University. He received a B.Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from the National University of Rosario (Argentina) in 2011. He has more than eight years experience in safety-critical electronics systems and components. Before his doctoral studies, he worked for three years as a Technician in the medical X-ray equipment industry in Argentina, and for five years as an Applications Engineer for a large industrial equipment manufacturer, were he gained international experience working in Brazil and USA.
He is currently performing research as part of the Ryerson Aerospace Control Systems research group (RACS), on the topics of spacecraft dynamics, guidance, navigation and control (DGNC) for asteroid exploration. He is also serving as the Vice-Chair (2016-2018) in the Aerospace Systems Integration Engineering Panel (ASIEP), part of the Aerospace & Electronics Systems Society (AESS).
