Kyarash received his B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Kerman University in 2000, Masters and PhD in Control Systems Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and Universite Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France in 2003 and 2007 respectively. He jointed Atkins Rail, London, UK, as Systems Research Engineer to work on systemic approaches and to deal with Safety, Security, Sustainability, and Risk Assessment in rails and roads. He then was with LACM laboratory and Centre de recherche industrielle du Quebec (CRIQ), Quebec from 2008 to 2013 with the main interest on Complex Dynamic Systems, System of Systems Engineering, Energy Efficiency and Continuous Improvement with the application in energy intensive industrial processes such as Cement and Pulp and Paper. He is currently with Aversan inc. / Honeywell Aerospace as lead systems engineer and a control design team member of Boeing 737MAX Integrated Air conditioning and air Supply System (IAS) project.
Kyarash has been IEEE Member since 2003, and Senior Member since 2013. He previously was the chair of Young Professional Affinity Group Quebec Section from 2012 to 2014. He is also registered professional engineer in Ontario.
