Hall of Fame The Hall of Fame section features the IEEE Fellows of the Toronto Section.
Prof. Adalbert Konrad FIEEE, received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees and the Ph.D. degree at the McGill University.
Prof.Konrad,is a professor at the University of Toronto and is interested in all aspects of theoretical and applied electromagnetics. In particular, I am interested in the subject of applied computational electromagnetics and in that context, the finite element method as it is applied to field problems. The applications cover devices in electrostatics, magnetostatics, eddy currents, and wave propagation. Current research topics of interest include electromagnetic-acoustic transducers for non-destructive evaluation, electromagnetic interference in power electronic circuits, and the analysis of various low- and high-frequency electromagnetic devices.

2006 IEEE Annual Election Period is NOW.
Eligible voting IEEE members should have received their 2006 IEEE Annual
Election ballot packages in the mail. Ballot materials can also be accessed
electronically here.
The opportunity to vote in the IEEE Annual Election is a privilege of
membership. This year, for the first time, the privilege is being
extended to eligible graduate student members. Also, this year for the
first time, voters can view video footage of the candidates through the IEEE Annual Election Web site. All ballots must be
received by the election vendor by 1 November 2006 at 12 noon, Central
Time USA (18:00 Greenwich Mean Time) to be counted.
