IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Muthanna Jameel Al-Khishali, MIEEE - Engineering and Human Environment Secretary / Treasurer

Muthanna received his Ph.D. in Power Systems from the University of Baghdad in 1996, his Master of Philosophy in Power Electronics from the University of Birmingham, UK in 1990, and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Baghdad in 1976. He is an Associate Professor and a Consultant Power Engineer. His main research interests include Power System Analysis and Stability, Power Electronics Design and Applications, Image analysis and Laser applications. He is a Member of Three IEEE Societies, Energy and Power, Power Electronics and Photonics. He is the author and presenter of more than 20 peer reviewed scientific and engineering papers and participated in two books in Engineering Education.
