Abstract

Chemical and Petroleum Industries in Ontario went through a lot of changes in the last twenty years, mainly in the areas of safety and environmental responsibility. This forum addresses practical aspects of the existing safety culture from the perspectives of the industrial production facilities, consultant/construction organizations and the regulating authorities. As in the previous engineering forums on nuclear technology and renewable energy development in Ontario, this conference will culminate with the lively question and answer period where all issues raised by the audience will be discussed and answered by the experts.
