Abstract

Biography Stéphane Masse received an M.A.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal in 1989. From 1988 to 2000 he worked as a biomedical research engineer at the University of Toronto and the Toronto General hospital. From 2000 to 2005, he led the instrumentation & control group for Hydrogenics, a fuel cell start-up company. In 2005, he joined the VF research group at the University Health Network and became the director of the Hull Family Cardiac Fibrillation Management Laboratory in 2009. His research interests are signal processing and instrumentation applied to data acquisition systems to study and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
