| Biography: Dave Park graduated in 1989 with a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK, specializing in telecoms. Dave has worked on various aspects of communications systems including modulator/demodulators, low cost in-building cellular systems, DECT, GSM, next generation personal communications systems, wireless switches and microcell basestations. After a stint in the business world he returned to do R&D in optical amplifiers and photonic networks, with a focus on system performance. Currently Dave is the Senior Manager of photonics system design responsible for the system design and evolution of Nortel's 10GBits/s DWDM optical system. |
