| Abstract
|
Representatives of North American and international standards committees on cables, transformers, machines, switchgear and lightning arresters will be on-hand for questions. This event is intended to bring people together in a setting more conducive to discussion and debate than the usual formal lecture format.
If you haven’t been to a DEIS meeting before, this is the perfect opportunity to meet the regional experts to discuss specification and testing issues for all manners of medium and high voltage apparatus. For those who have been around for a while, here’s the chance to meet old friends and greet some fresh faces. Established members of the utility industry are encouraged to bring along those still wet-behind-the-ears with insulating oil to experience first-hand tales of the art and science of standards development. Younger members are encouraged to bring out their distinguished elders to help them stave off intellectual embrittlement and maintain lubrication at this like-minded gathering. |
