News	October 23, 2008 - The IEEE Toronto Engineering in Medicine and Biology Chapter 3rd annual Wine & Cheese Event. See the event page for photos. November, 2006 - Toronto EMBS student member Riwa Karkokli won the first place award in the 2006 Regional Student Paper Contest for Canada. Her supervisor was Dr. Kristiina McConville. August 7, 2006 - this chapter is now officially approved by IEEE. Watch for our Fall seminar series with EMBS Medec Speakers
