Chapter News

To Computer Society/Chapter members:

We are looking forward to running this exciting and challenging chapter, and are planning meetings to cover areas in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering and information technology. The coverage will consist of a mix of theoretical and practical subjects.

Our core technical interest and focus will be in embedded systems. There will be a focus on 32-bit processors, embedded software and applications (motor control, wireless, instrumentation/measurement/control etc).

We are fortunate to be working for microprocessor/microcontroller manufacturers (IBM, Microchip), and will certainly be in touch with our colleagues to present seminars to our membership.

Dennis Cecic, Chapter Chair

Full house and speaker at July 20, 2007 Bjarne Stroustrup talk.
