IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section
Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two
years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who
volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the
IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their
invaluable contributions.

Ilia Bolotine - Engineering and Human Environment Chapter Vice-Chair
Ilia Bolotine has been an IT consultant for CIBC for the past 12 years, and is now part of their senior executive team since 2003. The diversity of his skills, including his
IT technology expertise, allowed him to lead many teams through complex challenges successfully. Ilia has successfully completed several projects, particularly in the
multimillion dollar range. Most of these have had nationwide impact, including the massive systems and process changes that seamlessly handled currency conversions when
the EURO was announced, which was international in scope.
