IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Albert Man - Instrumentation and Measurement Chapter Chair

Albert Man received his Computer Science degree and Computer Engineering degree from University of Toronto and University of New Brunswick respectively.  He has been working for ATI/AMD for 18 years focusing in Test Engineering and Design for Test.  He served several management positions including Director of Product and Test Engineering and Director of Qualification/Diagnostic at ATI.  He is very familiar with the test and instrumentation requirement in SOC fabrication.  He involved extensively in component testing for standard compliance, peripheral compatibility and signal integrity.

Currently he is a test consultant specializing in digital and analog test for computer system.  He held 7 patents in ATI.  Most of the inventions are related to digital test methodology and solution.   His special interests are high speed digital test, IO test module and design for characterization methodology.   Albert Man becomes Professional Engineer of Ontario since May 1992 and joins IEEE in 2006.
