| Biography |
Marisa Sterling's knowledge and competence are what set her apart. A successful
professional engineer for over 20 years, she is passionate about healthy communities, accessible
education and a prosperous economy. As a leader at Professional Engineers Ontario, she is
currently managing key programs with Ontario's 75,000 professional engineers. As an active
community volunteer throughout her career, she has worked to advance job creation, health
and education programs, and a sustainable environment. Marisa served as a Page in the Ontario
Legislature as a teenager, and recently as a candidate in the Toronto-Danforth riding, she was
poised to make history as the first elected female engineer in Queen's Park.
